On Thursday, January 7th, Botsplash Founder and CEO, Aru Anavekar, spoke at the Lake Norman and Ballantyne IT Professionals Virtual Town Hall meeting. The event was organized to give local Charlotte IT and IT Security operational leaders and organizational IT Stake Holders a virtual forum to “Meet, Learn, Share, and Give” to each other, their organizations, and the local community.
Aru shared insights and best practices to digital messaging challenges for companies that may or may not have a messaging solution. She discussed the differences between automated and live chat, and some of the barriers companies may face as they look to omnichannel options.
Several members of the audience were interested in learning more on how compliance and security can co-exist in an omnichannel environment and whether businesses could properly scale if there were too many compliance regulations. The past was brought up as Aru shared the challenges of starting and growing a bootstrapped company and the future of omnichannel was covered as members discussed their current usage and how that will shift, especially in a pandemic-focused world.
